Let me suggest...

Page froze upon save

The page got stuck saving. After I finally closed out of the window, I re-opened Cacoo and found that it had lost all of my changes. This is completely unacceptable if you expect people to take this tool seriously.

While your network is connected, Cacoo saves all of your operations.
When your network connection is unstable and becomes offline, it is supposed to go back to online when Cacoo detects network connection, and send operations you made while you were offline.

However, on certain environments, Cacoo seems to have difficulty to go back to online, and we are currently working to improve it. Meanwhile, please try to use Cacoo on other web browser if possible.

Also, if Cacoo becomes offline and not getting back to online, please stop editing, close and re-open the editing screen. Your operations until you became offline are supposed to be there.

If you have worked on the diagram without noticing that you were offline, please open another editing canvas in a new tab/window and copy the changes and paste them on the diagram in the new tab. Please make sure to save your diagram frequently, too (shortcut for Save is Ctrl + S).

If you still cannot save your diagram, please let us know the following:
    - the URL of the diagram
    - the versions of your OS, browser and Flash Player
    - Error message (if any)
    - Same problem happens if you create a new diagram?
    - Please check on other PC or browser, if available.

        Hi !

I have the same issue at this moment. I have about 90 changes pending to save and internet connection it's OK.

It's the second time today that this happens.

Can I save my design or it's lost ?

        thanks

        Hi CJ,

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

While your network is connected, Cacoo saves all of your changes on the server. If Cacoo was not offline, please reopen the editing page. All modifications should be there.

Please make sure to save your diagram frequently (shortcut for Save is Ctrl + S) to avoid losing your works.

I am having issues where I am unable to save now as there are over 200 pending updates to complete. If I try to edit any of the diagrams, this situation simply compounds to 210+ pending updates. I am unable to Save anything manually, so I fear that I am about to lose ALL diagrams... not very happy.

I can't save my work. I worked on a page from home last night, closed my laptop with Cacoo's page open and began working on that page from my office. Now I can't save b/c the error pops up "working offline - request canceled." There does not appear to be a way to log in again, so I will end up losing my work as when I hit the "X" to close properly, it warns me I have ten unsaved changes.

I have a similar problem. It seems that the connection times out after a while, and when you try to save it just says you are offline and there is no way to reactivate the session and save changes! What a HUGE waste of my time!! This is ridiculous and this thing shouldn't even be in alpha if they don't know how to handle session state and implement auto-save options.

I was pretty impressed until this experience.

I have the same problem now. I still have my saving tab opened but it is still looping for 15 minutes. What can I do to recover my work? HELP!

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Please let us know what versions of OS and web browser you use. Also, please check if it happens on a certain diagram or all diagrams.

        Thank you for your time.

Although this topic is fairly old, today I have had 10 (litteraly!) crashes of FireFox while saving my wireframe.

        Sorry for the inconvenience.

We are now fixing the issue you pointed out and other similar unstable
behaviors. In the near future, we will release a new version of Cacoo
that is more stable than a current version.

I had a somilar problem too:
I work on firefox 3.5 and chrome on ubuntu, when the diagram reach a medium complexity and i try to save, first everything frozen, then restart but finally gave me this error:

Quit editing due to connection error, sorry.
        java.lang.OutOfMemoryError : Java heap space

When you restart editing next, the operations not saved is restored in many cases.

It's java memory setting on the server or i can set on ny client?
please resolve this tool it's fantastic but unusable!

        thanX
